The problem with most of the coffee made in caffetieres UK use a lot of coffee and then we cook for 4 or 5 minutes.
3 cups in the description says, so we have to get 3 cups of great coffee from the pot.
Clearly ridiculous!
The cafeteria takes little bit more than soft-drink can - just a person who wants a large cup, if they do it very very successful.

However, if you want the best coffee of my suggestion is to use a larger amount of coffee, maybe three or even four spoonfuls. Pour hot water (not boiling) stir for 20 seconds.
Put on the lid and plunger, and plunging after a few minutes at most. Many get by soaking for much longer - it seems to happen more after the fact flavored wet. Pour into a cup (or cups) and dilute to taste with hot water.
